Not only does this restaurant have an outstanding menu but the service is fabulous and the view of the runway is a sweet bonus. My husband liked the fried green tomatoes and patty melt. My sister-in-law liked her patty melt and mac and cheese. My father-in-law's Colorado burger smelled amazing. My California salad was huge and very tasty. I look forward to returning when we come back to the area.

It was so well worth it to eat the delicious Coconut Fried Shrimp with the marmalade sauce! It's an iconic place with a nice view of the runway. A thumbs up too for the friendly and knowledgeable staff at the restaurant.

You will love it here!! It shares a space with our wonderful small yet mighty airport. You can watch an array of the locals planes land while you eat. I recommend waiting for a window seat if it's your first visit. The owners and staff are lovely. It feels like you're at home and in a diner at the same time. The food is delicious as well. This is a gem of Vero Beach, definitely visit! Everyone loves to come here.

11/24/25 Great spot for lunch, arrived at 11:30 and got seated right away. However, got busy around noon. I had a Ruben and my wife had grilled Havarti cheese w/pears and bacon.....good on both. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Great variety of food for all tastes. The Natural Salad was delish and enough for 2 or 3 people. Steaks were delicious as well as the pasta and the veggy burger. Some desserts are included with your meal and they are tasty! About the Atmosphere, The music was a bit too loud in order to be able to have a normal conversation. Our waitress was great.

We had a fantastic dining experience at CJ Cannon’s! We started with a kids’ meal for our granddaughter — I had a quick taste of the mac & cheese and chunky applesauce. The mac & cheese was smooth and creamy, while the applesauce was full of flavor — truly one of the best I’ve tried. My wife had a salad with ranch dressing, which she really enjoyed. The ranch had a rich, homemade taste, and the overall salad was fresh and crisp. The service was exceptional — Paula went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. For the main course, I had the prime rib, which was cooked perfectly and is easily one of the best I’ve had in the area. The stuffed tomato was a unique touch and surprisingly delicious. My wife ordered the flounder stuffed with crab meat and couldn’t stop raving about it — she said it was absolutely out of this world. CJ Cannon’s truly delivered a memorable meal with great food and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back!

We tried a restaurant today on the recommendation of a friend, CJ Cannon’s at the Vero Airport. Wow, what a great restaurant. We were greeted warmly, grabbed a seat at the bar and had a great meal and drinks, all taken care of by our bartender Gene. Very friendly and attentive. Our meals were delicious and there was plenty of takeout. We’re certainly coming back. Please check this hidden gem out, you’ll be amazed at the quality and variety!

A must visit for Vero Beach. This historic restaurant is brimming with aviation history as expected. A view of the ramp from every table as well. Believe it or not, they probably serve the best cooked to order burger in town. The onion rings with spicy sauce are also a great choice. The staff are all very nice and the restaurant is kept clean. The menu is vast, but a burger with rings will run 16. Parking is to the left of the front door.
